About Us

Groundwork Greater Nottingham is a multi-disciplinary organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people living in Nottingham, Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe. Our work is divided into the thematic areas of People, Places, and Employment, with Youth and Play being an integral part of the People Team.

We understand the vital importance of partnership working, and involving local people in all elements of service delivery to ensure we can help fulfil both their needs and desires. Our staff work closely with other professional organisations, local groups, and individuals of all ages, as well as funders, and partners from across sectors to ensure we develop and deliver projects which are truly beneficial to the people of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

We are dedicated to supporting young people in their transition between childhood and adulthood, and our work aims to; increase access to services and opportunities, raise aspirations, increase levels of engagement, support young people to make positive well informed life choices, and to ensure that local young people have a voice which is heard.
