Community & Education

Become a Volunteer

Are you interested in; nature activities, helping to support community events, or growing your own food? Do you have spare time that you would like to give? Would you like to improve your CV?

Our community and Education team needs the support of volunteers across a range of projects and activities, and in return can offer you an exciting range of new opportunities, along with the chance to have fun working with others.

We are committed to helping volunteers find the right opportunities, and so if our current vacancies aren’t quite right for you, then we can sign post you to other organisations and projects who would benefit from your input.

Whether you have; an interest in practical horticulture, talent for marketing, project management skills, event planning, networking, photography, social media, graphic design, IT or anything and everything in-between we would love to hear from you.

In return we will provide you with the opportunity to have a hands-on role and play an important part in the continuation of our work. We will provide references, travel expenses and there may be the possibility of additional external training opportunities.

Are you interested in volunteering outside of the Community and Education Team? In addition to the other groundwork Greater Nottingham Volunteer vacancies, why not check out your local Council's volunteering service for a wider range of volunteering opportunities?
